Built for winter-camping adventurers who demand comfort and durability, this complete Basecamp™ bundle combines the rugged 980 shelter with two purpose-built expansion accessories—the Vestibule 980 and the Sled Shed™.
At the center of the bundle is the Basecamp™ 980, a commercial-grade insulated shelter offering 122 square feet of interior space and over 6.5 feet of height for extended overnight trips. The dual-compartment layout provides room for standard sleeping cots while maintaining open floor space for fishing and gear. Constructed with heavy-duty high-loft insulation and ripstop shell fabric, the shelter is designed to retain heat, reduce condensation, and stand up to harsh winds. A waterproof Sleet Sheet™ roof cover, large removable window panels, gear storage nets, and a full-panel zippered entry elevate comfort and convenience, while dual HVAC ports and a flame-retardant stove area let you heat the shelter your way.
Adding even more capability, the Vestibule 980 attaches directly to the shelter front entry to create a protected, fully enclosed transition area. This Vestibule provides an additional 39 square feet of space, so it’s perfect for staging gear, removing wet boots, prepping meals, or shielding yourself from the wind before stepping into the main shelter. This Vestibule is a waterproof, non-insulated ripstop material.
Finally, to keep the interior uncluttered, the Sled Shed™ adds 29 square feet of exterior storage at the rear of the shelter. Designed to cover the Basecamp D-door, it offers enclosed protection for your gear sled, tools, and extra equipment—keeping everything accessible but out of the living space. Dual zippered side access points provide quick entry, while the included carry bag makes off-season storage simple. Like the Vestibule, the Sled Shed™ is made of a non-insulated, waterproof ripstop material.

Designed for overnight outings and extended stays, Basecamp™ winter camping shelters are made to hold up in the harshest of environments.
Available in two sizes, each Basecamp™ shelter is constructed with insulated ripstop fabric, retaining warmth while creating a rugged outer shell that resists rips and accidental wear and tear. Both sizes also include a seam-taped waterproof roof cover, providing an additional barrier against ice and snow buildup.
Some factors to consider when choosing a shelter include the number of anglers in your group, fishing/sleeping floorplan, and intended heat source placement.
The 980 "double" size is elongated in the back to fit standard cot lengths. This can be useful to segment fishing and sleeping areas, and creates the feeling of having multiple "rooms". Alternatively, the 660 is a one room shelter that centralizes sleeping, fishing, and accumulated warmth in a single space. This allows you to use a smaller heat source, but offers less overall space.
